Carpe Diem
Last Wednesday night, Hampden Park Glasgow hosted the 2007 UEFA cup final between to Spanish teams. I live 5 minutes away from the national stadium and from my vantage point can see supporters traveling from miles away towards the ground. To my amusement, about a third of this armada of Spaniards were wearing kilts in the colour of their appropriate teams. These were very cheap looking kilts and had obviously been sold by an astute business man or women in the centre of the city. If these business people made a modest £1 for each kilt, and I expect they would have made more, they would have earned about £10,000 for a days work. The key to this is that they took action before it was too late. This is what is called seizing the day or Carpe Diem. Many home base online business people are wealthy because of that very strategy. So remember when you are working for yourself on your own online business their will come a time when you have to make a big decision or even several big decisions which could determine whether your online business is a success or failure.
